7/52

a portrait of my child, once a week, every week in 2013

// 7/52 apparently yoghurt makes and excellent hair styling product

i love my messy little eater.   yes, it takes me forever to clean up after every meal and yes, despite covering Ava with a sleeved bib and a tea towel over her legs she still manages to get food stains all over her clothes {and often mine}; but watching her have fun with her food and seeing what an amazing appetite and adventurous palette she has makes it all worth while.

  1. Aww bless her! Lovely to see another messy little eater! It takes ages to clear up in our house too and Lydia hates it! I always tell her she shouldn't get in such a mess if she doesn't like me wiping it up and she always gives me her 'what are you talking about you crazy mum?!' look! Becky x

    2. Hehe, they are funny aren't they?! It's when it's all gone crusty and you have to properly scrub that's the worst! X

  2. Just started following your blog, its wonderful! Your daughter is so very sweet! I have a 3 year old little one also named Ava but we call her by her middle name, Bea. My 3 year old is still the messiest eater around. I should post pictures of her tearing into and eating an orange its ridiculous! Any-who, thank you for the cute posts! <3 from The States

  4. This is adorable!! Feed her everything you can now and she'll be a great eater when she grows up. I've had friends of my children come over to play and they won't eat this or they won't eat that. Such a pain in the neck!! : ) Have a wonderful weekend!!
